With styling by Giovanni Michelotti the Triumph Herald was very modern and forward thinking at the time, and it still looks great today. Although it was based on a separate chassis, the Herald was advanced in other areas such as the independent coil spring front suspension, rack and pinion steering as well as independent rear suspension by transverse leaf spring.

Harriet was my first classic purchase in 2011. She was found in a remote spot near Clunderwen in South Wales.

Miraculously, a lot of her original paper work had survived including an original photograph and this all suggested she had been owned by a London doctor.

Harriet needed much work and took 8 years to complete.
